Power of a Legacy

Our signature salon series celebrates the passions that fueled the man behind Villa Final

Walter in front of Villa Finale

Villa Finale’s celebrated salon series, now in its fifth year, has brought local writers, academics, musicians, and politicians to our elegant Napoleon Parlors to engage with guests in a salon-style atmosphere.

2020 marks Villa Finale’s tenth year in operation as the only site of the National Trust for Historic Preservation. This year’s series, Power of a Legacy, celebrates that anniversary with featured guest presenters expert in fields that were of special interest to Villa Finale’s final owner, Walter Mathis.

From preservation and military history to entertaining and collecting, this series will introduce new guests to Villa Finale while enlightening and elucidating old friends.

Grant funding for this series is provided in part by the King William Association
