I'm a nomad by nature. born in Arizona, but started moving shortly afterward. Somehow, I always came back to San Antonio ... so that makes this home.

I found my medium when I was going to school for cabinetmaking in Seattle. I wanted an alternative for wood veneer ... something renewable, decorative and strong. That is when I found hemp paper.

I like to make use of second hand or recycled materials. There is an unlimited resource of 'canvases' waiting to be found in junkyards, dumpsters, or second use building materials. Everything deserves a second chance ... sometimes a third.

My partner and I operated D Block Studio for several years out of our home in the Blue Star Arts Complex. We closed the gallery in January of 2009 ... bought a house and are letting that absorb most of our artistic energy.
